I received the Sound Devices MixPre-3 II quickly, and in great shape. A complete test run with all three XLR inputs using phantom power, at 32 bits, was flawless. I used Schoeps microphones and ended up with a detailed, warm, clear recording — just like my other Sound Devices recorders sound like. The external physical condition of the unit was pretty much flawless too. All good. Thanks!
