Classic 1" reel to reel 16-track recorder from the '80s. This machine comes with all shown accessories, plus a wiring harness, all manuals, and an MRL alignment tape. The wooden case was made by a local carpenter.
It is fully functional, as you can see from the accompanying video, and has only known life in a professional non-smoking studio.
More details for those not as familiar with these. As configured in the listing this machine cost over $10,000 in 1980s dollars. It comes with two dbx noise reduction modules (shown in the lower case), the separate auto locator and record enable module with rolling stand. I am also including wiring harnesses (XLR to bare wire for patch bay installation), which will save you a ton of time and money getting it all hooked up. And including the 1" MRL alignment tape, which saves another big expense.
The engineer for the studio is willing to drive two hours in any direction from Louisville, KY where it is located to meet a buyer or drop off. I wouldn't know how to begin to pack it up to ship, so that's not really an option.
