3 of the 4 mics were good once the blue tape was removed from the mic, the mic fell apart in 2 pieces. the threading on it was stripped but thats the price i guess you pay for used mics. wear and tear, and the volume was a bit low compare to the others. that will not stop me from buying used gear, it happens im good with that. other then that the seller was great/communication and fast shipping.

I did not see or notice any cracks in the mics prior to sending? I did infact test each microphone individualy to make sure they were all working and there was no volume difference between any of them level wise. I inherited these mics and some other recording gear from a friend who recently passed, and know no history of them other than he did use them regularly. I had no need for the SM58s, thus my reason to sell them cheaply and per your offer, discount it even further. I'm sorry you are having trouble with the one. Was there a reason for removing the tape?
