Since this COVID stuff started a few years ago I've been collecting snare drums that are "must haves" and have been lucky enough to find unheard of, but very high quality drum companies out there. From Quebec to Brazil, and all those other brands that we know around the world. I have about 70 snare drums and am going to try to get it down to a "manageable" collection by selling a handful at a time. Most haven't been played or even tuned, only on display in my "toy room". And the several that have been are basically to hear their tonal qualities and personalities. I've tried to keep original boxes and paperwork, so all equipment has been cared for!
