This is a really nice Stratocaster style guitar. The neck is fantastic. Looks like it could have been a Tagima neck based on the headstock style. The whole guitar may be a Tagima, but I do not know. There are no marking on it that I can see that could tell me. The quality is above that of a Squier. It has a Shadow Guitars neck plate, but I do not think it's a Shadow brand guitar as I have been unable to find any guitar made by Shadow that would match this guitar, so I think it just inherited this neck plate somewhere along its journey.
I got it from someone who knew nothing of its origins either. I had some nice upgrade parts lying around so I fitted it with GraphTech saddles, GraphTech string trees and new Hipshot locking tuners. Did a proper setup on it. It plays wonderful.
The trem block is bad, would need to be replaced if you wanted to use the tremelo. I do not use tremelo so I never bothered.
