Think this guitar can't replace a Gibson Les Paul Custom? Think again.
This is a beautiful example of how well-made Japanese guitars were in the late '80s to late '90s. This Les Paul Custom (LPC-75/WR) has the weight, look, feel, long-neck tenon, and rich looking rosewood fret board. Made in the famed Terada factory in 1989. Deep and rich Wine Red finish too (think Jerry Cantrell).
Has a 1 11/16” nut width. Thinner, comfortable style neck (think '61 SG). No issues, cracks or breaks; neck is straight, truss rod tested, intonation set, frets just dressed, and action is low. Just over 9.4lbs!
Mods include replacing the existing Seymour Duncan's with actual new Gibson Burstbucker I & IIs pickups. Looks like the original cheap capacitors were replaced with upgraded Montreux Retrovibe oil in paper capacitors, and original Japanese pots remain in place.
Comes with a sturdy non-original hard case.
