The Boss AB-2 2-Way Selector Pedal is a compact, robust utility foot switch designed to seamlessly route audio signals. It features an analog, 2-way circuit that allows you to instantly switch either one input between two outputs, or two inputs into a single output with a single click. It is widely used by musicians to switch between two different guitars, alternate between two amplifiers, or route a signal cleanly to a dedicated tuner.

Design & Form: Features a classic, durable Boss construction built like a tank, paired with a stable rubber base. It uses a tongue-and-groove side rail design that allows it to firmly slide and interlock with other Boss trigger switches.
Visual Feedback: Equipped with two highly visible LED indicators—A (Red) and B (Yellow)—to provide clear confirmation of your active signal path even on dark stages.
Audio Cleanliness: Employs silent electronic switching designed to avoid standard physical switch pop noises and eliminate tone degradation.
Power & Important Considerations
Battery Requirements: It requires two AAA batteries to function. It does not feature a standard 9V DC barrel jack connection for a power supply.
Power Management: The internal switching circuitry turns on automatically as soon as an instrument cable is inserted into the IN/OUT jack. To prevent the battery from draining completely while not in use, cables must be physically unplugged from the pedal after you finish playing.
Pedalboard Mounting: The textured rubber material on the bottom can make standard adhesive Velcro tricky to apply. Many musicians choose to secure it to their board using zip-ties or alternative mounting methods
