The Xotic XW-1 Wah is a highly versatile, premium guitar effects pedal modeled after the "Holy Grail" of classic filters—the 1967–1968 Italian-built Clyde McCoy wahs. It is housed in a compact chassis that is 20% smaller than traditional wah pedals to maximize space on your pedalboard.
Unlike vintage units that lock you into one specific sound, the XW-1 features extensive external controls, including a two-band EQ (Treble/Bass), a Wah Q knob to adjust the filter's sweep intensity, and a Bias knob to transition from warm, vintage voicing to an aggressive, modern growl. It also includes gold-contact relay true bypass switching, adjustable rocker tension, and an internal, fuzz-friendly buffering circuit so it interacts flawlessly with high-gain fuzz pedals without sacrificing bottom-end response.
