Ok… let me start with this,
I’m not trying to hype the description of the guitar… This is absolutely the BEST Squire I’ve ever picked up !
Of all the Tele’s I’ve ever owned
( which is in the neighborhood of 30-40 ), I’ve only had a couple American versions that have played as nice as this Squire. I’m going to guess that this was put together for either a Trade Show ie. NAMM, or was a Dealer Bait guitar. It has incredible Flammed/Tiger Striped Curly Maple through the whole length of the neck both FB side and back. The fret work is absolutely impeccable, the crowning, polishing, and edge dressing is Custom Shop level work.
As for the pickups, they appear to be the stock pickups, BUT ! I’ve never plugged into or heard a demo of a squire sound this GOOD.
