Up for sale is an authentic, Chicago-built Lyon & Healy "American Professional" Bb cornet, manufactured in-house by Lyon & Healy around 1902–1903 (Serial #1364 / #2). Unlike stencil horns of the era, the "American Professional" line was designed and crafted directly in Lyon & Healy's Chicago factory, featuring their signature floral hand-engraved bell and classic satin-silver finish with polished inner bell accents.

Servicing & Play Condition:
- Ultrasonically Cleaned: Deep-cleaned, sanitized, and thoroughly flushed inside and out.
- Fresh Soft Goods: Fully overhauled with new valve springs, top and bottom felts, corks, and water key pads.
- Valves & Compression: Pistons show minimal plating wear and deliver free, smooth action with solid compression.
- Body Condition: Exceptionally clean for a ~120-year-old horn. Very few minor dings, straight leadpipe, and no evidence of significant past solder repairs or structural damage. Satin silver finish presents beautifully.
- Playability: Plays very nicely across all registers with a warm, rich classic American cornet tone.
