This Taylor 314ce was purchased new in July 2019. It has never left my climate controlled house for the entirety of the time since. It is in excellent condition, but it does have two or three tiny dings that are visible on the top if you look hard enough. I tried to get photos to illustrate, but the dings are just about too small to show up. The pick guard does have some light pick marks on it. Pretty standard for any used guitar. This is only visible when the guitar is held in the light at just the right angle.
Other than that, this guitar is in like-new condition. All electronics work flawlessly. The string action has not been altered. Most Taylor guitars are extremely well set up at the factory, and this one is no exception.
The case shows basically no signs of wear. Maybe one or two tiny scuffs. It is a fantastic case. I own $2,000+ Martin guitars whose cases are nowhere near this good.
Overall, this guitar is in fantastic condition and has been well taken care of by someone who does not abuse their gear. I have even put a new set of light gauge strings on it so that it will sound its best right out of the box. All original paperwork is also included.
It’s a great guitar that I really hate to part with. But I have young kids and no longer have the time to enjoy it like I should. And the wife says I have too many guitars and should think about downsizing. Happy wife, happy life!
