With classic Carnhill transformers a hand-wired Class A design, the BAE 1073MPF perfectly captures the unmistakable sound of the original Neve 1073. Ideal for producers and engineers who want to add depth to two-bus mixes or mix-and-match preamps and EQs, the BAE 1073MP captures the unmistakable tone of the most iconic preamp ever made.
The BAE 1073MPF uses the exact same circuit design as the original Neve 1073—from the Carnhill transformer coupled input to the hand-wired Class-A design. The BAE 1073MPF captures the same iconic sound signature and wide bandwidth as the original. Known for its rich low-end, edgy highs and focused midrange, the 1073 has been used on countless hit records. And now it can be yours—for a fraction of the price.
The BAE 1073MPF also introduces new features for added versatility. An all-new line input on the rear can be used to process line-level signals—perfect for fattening up the mix bus!
