Purchased new from Sweetwater on December 12, 2024, this Gibson J-45 Standard in Cherry is a 2024 model. This particular cherry finish has been discontinued, making this specific color, condition, and wood choice combination less common.
The guitar has never left the house and has spent most of its life in its case. The mahogany neck features an almost candycane stripe effect, complemented by beautiful grain swirls and Birds Eye effects on the Sitka spruce top. It plays and sounds lovely, with a nice dark rosewood fretboard and bridge.
This guitar is equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system. The original case has some minor scuffs from being moved in and out of storage. It comes with all original case candy and the original Gibson shipping box.
