Gibson L-00 Rosewood 12-Fret Acoustic-Electric – Rosewood Burst – Excellent Condition w/ OHSC
Offered for sale is a Gibson L-00 Rosewood 12-Fret in the stunning Rosewood Burst finish. This guitar has been exceptionally well cared for and is in excellent condition. Cosmetically, it's difficult to fault, showing only a few faint surface scratches from normal handling. There are no cracks, repairs, structural issues, or significant dings.
The factory LR Baggs VTC pickup and preamp system were professionally removed and are included in the original Gibson hardshell case. If you prefer amplified performance, the electronics can be easily reinstalled. The previous owner removed them to maximize unplugged tone, reduce weight, and preserve the guitar's acoustic resonance.
This L-00 delivers an outstanding combination of warmth, clarity, and responsiveness. The 12-fret neck joint shifts the bridge closer to the center of the lower bout, producing greater resonance, a richer bass response, and enhanced sustain. It excels as a fingerstyle instrument while still offering plenty of punch for flatpicking and light strumming.
Unlike the traditional mahogany L-00, the solid rosewood back and sides provide deeper bass, richer overtones, and sparkling highs, giving this model a fuller, more complex voice.
