Honestly I don't know why Fender went with the tuners they did on these American Professional II series guitars. Even way lower end Fenders (and even Squiers) come with split-post tuners, which can be as good as locking tuners, but the stock ones here were neither locking nor split-post. Anyway they have good Fender locking tuners now, as Fender makes these drop-in replacements (no drilling was required). Original tuners are also included.

- Guitar is nearly mint, has some light scuffing on the pickguard that is pretty hard to see- I see no other marks on it anywhere

- Guitar has been in its great hard case most of its short life, in a smoke-free home and humidity-controlled environment- guitar and case are extremely clean, look about new.

This is a great guitar, is super well-built, has great and super-versatile electronics (really like that they went with push-push for the coil split options). It is just kind of redundant among my collection. I hope someone will give it a good home!
