Mint condition, never left the house, only played a handful of times. Selling a couple of my guitars to make room for a couple new ones. This is a 2022 version that has upgrades from the current core model such as Ebony Fingerboard & Headstock Overlay, Mini-toggle for "Impedance Selector", Abalone Fingerboard Inlays with Mother of Pearl Outlines.
This PRS Modern Eagle V has a Figured Carved Curly Maple Top, Solid Mahogany Body, Pattern One Piece Mahogany Neck, Ebony Fingerboard, Phase III Locking Tuners, Patented Gen III Tremolo Bridge, TCI Bridge Pickup, NS-01 Middle Pickup, TCI Neck Pickup, Incl. Hard Case.
The Modern Eagle V is an innovative instrument that offers highly musical tones for both recording and playing live. Utilizing a hum/single/hum (five-coil) pickup layout and unique electronics configuration, the Modern Eagle V gives players a vast array of tones in one guitar. The 5-way blade switch selects the pickups in intuitive groupings: treble, treble and middle, middle, middle and bass, and bass. There is a single volume and a push/pull tone control that activates both humbuckers when engaged; this allows players to access all three pickups simultaneously. There are mini toggles to individually separate the humbucker coils, turning the outside pickups into true single coils. Finally, there is a third mini-toggle that changes the volume pot impedance value from 500k to 250k, which gives the guitar a different palette of tones though the change in sound is very subtle. This electronics design puts a whole set of classic and new tones at your fingertips.
