The Gibson J-45 Studio Walnut Burst is in excellent condition with good action. It plays and sounds fantastic. The guitar has been well cared for but shows signs of use. Cosmetically, there are a couple of small chips in the black lacquer on the black headstock. It appears to me that a previous owner may have accidentally dropped a couple of drops of super glue and it may have melted the two spots on the headstock finish. I have no idea, but it isn't terrifbly noticable. Around the soundhole, there are some scratches and minor finish wear from normal pick use. None of these cosmetic imperfections are that noticeable or have any effect the guitar's playability, tone, or structural integrity.
The solid walnut back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top deliver the warm, balanced sound that makes the J-45 one of Gibson's most beloved acoustic guitars. The LR Baggs Element Bronze pickup system makes it equally at home on stage or in the studio.
