Roland System-8 Plug-Out Synthesizer – Excellent Condition – $1,160~$1100
Selling my Roland System-8 Plug-Out Synthesizer. Detailed photos from all angles are included, and all original cables will be provided.
This unit has been used exclusively in my home studio as a MIDI controller and has never been gigged or heavily used. As a result, the overall cosmetic condition is exceptionally clean and close to mint.
Important Note:
One knob is damaged and would need replacement if you want it fully restored. I took the unit to an official Roland service center, and they estimated the repair cost at approximately $250–$300. I want to be completely transparent about this issue, which is why I have priced the unit accordingly.
From my research, Roland System-8 units in fair to good condition are currently selling for around $1,400–$1,600. Considering the cost of the knob replacement, I believe $1,100 is a fair asking price.
That said, the damaged knob controls a function that I personally never used, and the synthesizer has worked perfectly for my needs without replacing it. All other knobs, buttons, keys, controls, display functions, MIDI functionality, and overall operation work exactly as they should.
