Up for sale is this 2024 Fender JV Modified '60s Custom Telecaster in Firemist Gold — listed as excellent but honestly mint, unplayed, all original, and absolutely stunning in that Firemist Gold finish. Made in Japan, the JV Modified series pays tribute to the legendary and highly sought-after Japanese Vintage Fender reissues of the early '80s, and this one delivers on that legacy in every way. It's built on a double-bound basswood body with a thick Soft "V" maple neck, 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard, 21 medium jumbo frets, and a bone nut — incredibly comfortable and fast right out of the box. Where it really gets interesting is the electronics — two vintage-voiced Tele single-coil pickups wired through a 4-way selector switch giving you bridge alone, parallel, neck alone, and neck/bridge in series for a thicker, punchier voice, plus a push-pull tone control that activates out-of-phase mode in positions 2 and 4 — an enormous tonal range hiding behind a completely classic Tele exterior. Rounds out with a 3-saddle vintage-style bridge with brass barrel saddles, vintage-style locking tuners, and all the chrome nickel hardware you'd expect. Comes in the original Fender tweed hardshell case.
