PRS Modern Eagle V 10-Top – Cobalt Smokeburst
This PRS Modern Eagle V 10-Top is in great condition and has been exceptionally well cared for. There are a few light superficial surface scratches from normal handling, but nothing significant enough to photograph. The stunning 10-Top maple figuring on this example is absolutely outstanding in person, with incredible depth and character under light. Electronics function perfectly and deliver the immense tonal range the Modern Eagle V is known for. Includes the original PRS hardshell case, hang tag, and all original case candy.
The Modern Eagle V represents one of the most versatile and refined instruments in the PRS Core lineup — blending vintage-inspired tonewoods and craftsmanship with cutting-edge electronics and modern performance features. Previously reserved for PRS Wood Library and Private Stock builds, the Modern Eagle V brings premium appointments and expansive tonal flexibility into a production Core model designed for both studio precision and live performance excellence.
Built with a carved maple 10-Top over a lightweight mahogany body, this guitar delivers the classic warmth, sustain, and midrange richness of a timeless tonewood combination, while adding articulate top-end clarity and definition. The 25” scale length, Pattern mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, bone nut, and 22-fret layout provide the effortless playability and familiar feel PRS players love.
Where the Modern Eagle V truly shines is its remarkably versatile electronics platform. Outfitted with a hum/single/hum five-coil pickup configuration featuring PRS TCI pickups and an NS-01 middle pickup, this guitar covers everything from full-bodied humbucker saturation to sparkling single-coil clarity with ease.

Master volume and push/pull tone control
Dual EQ mini-toggle switches functioning as tuned high-pass filters for enhanced clarity and articulation
