I'm the original owner of this mic. I'm the only one who's ever used it, and I'd always bring it to my gigs so I had my own mic.
What I've always loved about the OM7 is the rejection at the rear of the mic. It is perfect for using wedge floor monitors and suppresses feedback like a dream.
To my ear, the frequency response of the mic is similar to the Shure Beta 58 with its clarity but is superior to the Shure in handling feedback.
There are no dents in the grille, however the finish on the grille has worn off a bit. If aesthetics is your vibe, the grille is replaceable for around $25-30.
Do not come with a mic clip.
