I am the original owner.
In excellent cosmetic condition, and in perfect operating condition, as well. No blemishes, no scratches to case work, removable rubber foot plate in terrific condition, as well (no cracking or fatigue). The cord (6' 8") is also in pristine condition -- no cracks, crimps, cuts, abrasions or mars of any kind to the cable jacket, and no shorts, open conductors or intermittency at all.
Comes with the original cord and all of the original packaging materials, as shown.
It is hard to imagine a more solidly made pedal than this. Heavy duty steel chassis is built to survive the apocalypse.
The action is perfectly smooth, and the long throw and pivot ergonomics make it feel just like the pedal on a B-3.
It is a wonderfully solid piece of gear. I bought it from Sweetwater about 4 years ago. I used it with a GSI DMC-122 dual keyboard MIDI controller, and it was great with that. I just sold the DMC-122 here on the gear exchange, and I am replacing it that with a Crumar DK61 (downsizing to smaller and simpler). Unfortunately, I just found out that this Hammond pedal is not compatible with the DK61 (due to a significant difference in potentiometer impedance), so I'll need to purchase a proprietary expression pedal made by Crumar to replace it, and that is the only reason I am selling it.
Most companies don't make gear anywhere near this sturdy and reliable anymore, and it breaks my heart to let it go, especially since it was quite expensive, but I'm forced to move on.
These sell online at Sweetwater for $287, new, but you can have this one for just $129, shipping included! My loss is your gain, and if you need one of these, you simply won't find a better deal, so I encourage you to snap up this bargain now before someone else beats you to it.
I've only done one other sale here on the Sweetwater Exchange (the DMC-122 mentioned earlier), but that was a high value item, and the buyer couldn't have been more pleased with our transaction. One final note: I have seen many of these listed on eBay as "new" ranging in price from about $120-$200, most of them showing as being located in Japan. Even if this pedal really does sell for that much less in Japan, after you tack on another 15% in import tariff, $15-$40 in brokers fees, and then sales tax and hefty international shipping are added, you aren't really saving any money in the end.)
