Purchased this new from Sweetwater in 2020 and kept in a smoke-free studio, inside a Cranborne chassis. This unit has been well cared for and works great.
Knobs are smooth, VU meter is accurate, and the THD circuit is the star of the show, which adds beautiful harmonics to the signal. This is classic 2181 VCA compression - the SSL sound.
Notable details on this unit:
• One LED on the right of the Make-Up Gain knob does not light up. (See last pic)
• A couple dust specks inside the VU meter.
A Dione plugin is available from WesAudio with regular updates for total recall. I don't have the original box but will package this well for shipping.
