I am the original owner of this keyboard. This unit was purchased new from Alto Music of Middletown NY in July of 2022 for $1,400.00.
Used, but in excellent condition. Never used in gigging -- solely housed in a clean, smoke-free home studio and meticulously cared for. In outstanding cosmetic condition and operating in all respects exactly as it should. Includes original shipping container and all original packaging materials.
I have no complaints with this keyboard. The number of controls and depth of programmability with this unit are nothing short of amazing. The only reason I am selling it is that I want to replace it with an 88-note keyboard and a single manual organ controller as that will suit my particular needs better. If you are a gigging keyboard player, hauling this around beats dealing with a >300 lb. B-3 hands down! Even compared to a modern Hammond (XK-5) it is over 30% lighter, with the Hammond weighing in at around 65 lbs, while this unit is just under 40 lbs!
I invite you to go to the GSI website to get complete details and review the user manual to get an idea of the power and flexibility of this keyboard.
It is the ideal controller for working with the GSI VB3-II Tonewheel Organ Simulator software, one of the premier stand-alone Mac/PC/IOS apps and Mac/PC plugins in use today, but can also be easily programmed to work with IK Multimedia's Hammond B-3X (or any other popular Hammond organ software). Accepts expression pedal and half-moon switch controller inputs.
There is a proprietary software for Mac/PC for programming. PLEASE NOTE: The DMC-122 Editor application is not compatible with MacOS 14.X "Sonoma" or greater -- it must be run on an older version of MacOS or on a windows computer.
