Welcome to Vintage Emporium. You're looking at a Sanox Sound Creator Alembic Style Guitar. This is a rare bird made in Japan by Ibanez, but branded as a Sanox Sound Creator in the Canadian market. This guitar features a set neck through design with a sandwich of different woods on the body. The original Dimarzio Super Distortion pickups that this guitar would have came with were swapped out with a Seymour Duncan 59 Neck pickup and a Dimarzio DP151 Bridge pickup. These two pickups sound phenomenal with a lot of bite and character. The electronics in this guitar are part of what make it unique and adds to the versatility of the guitar. With coil splitting switches and a phase switch for the middle position, many different tones can be found inside this beast. The neck on this guitar has an ultra comfortable medium C shape. Please note the frets on this guitar are vintage sized and short, but it plays great as is.
This guitar is in good condition and comes with a Stadium gig bag. This guitar came to us covered in stickers from the previous owner. All of them were removed except for the one on the control cavity backplate. There are some scratches from belt buckle rash. See photos for reference. This guitar was professionally setup with D'Addario EXL110 Strings. Frets were polished, fingerboard was oiled, truss rod was adjusted and is working as it should.
Overall this is a beast of a guitar. Delivering tons of body and clarity with its dual humbucker setup and coil-splitting capabilities, this guitar is ready to perform in the heat of battle. Whether you plan on ripping some heavy chuggin' riffs or get your Jerry Garcia on, this guitar is going to get the job done. These don't show up often so grab it while you can!
