This Shure SM98 Condenser Microphone and preamplifier is a great choice for capturing crisp high SPL sound sources like drums, brass and woodwinds. The system features a miniature cardioid condenser capsule that delivers a wide, smooth frequency response ranging from 40Hz to 20kHz, ensuring every nuance of your instrument is preserved. The included ILP-1 in-line preamplifier handles necessary phantom power and features a built-in low-cut filter and gain switch to prevent distortion. Visually, this microphone is in good used condition aside from a crack in the microphones connector where the cable meets the capsule. The connection remains tight and secure and the microphone has been tested to be in working order. The microphone comes with a carrying bag, a drum mount and a flexible goose neck.
