This is a BRAND NEW MINT CONDITION Fender Standard bass 3 color sunburst that had a cosmetic flaw and was sold to MIRC by Fender .
It was then inspected and set up and cleared to be sold to MIRC dealers of which I am one .
Since it had a small cosmetic flaw I decided to turn this one into a Tribute to the Fender Custom shop reliced 61 Jazz bass that sells for over $20,000 !! and also the 2024 Custom shop 61 that sells for Y858,000
Weighs in at 9 lbs 8 oz with covers and 9 lbs without
Now you can get a look alike for less than $1000 and it is still 100% FENDER parts . A Pirate Sam Custom shop Tribute .
I just reliced the top portion of the body as shown . Removing most of the clear coat before sanding down the areas . I also swapped out the white pickguard for a new tortoiseshell one like the original 61 and then installed brand new FENDER covers for the bridge and the top pickup . These items added $80 worth of new Fender parts to the Standard Jazz !
Buy it at asking price and i will toss it in a Brand new Fender gig bag as well !!! So do the math and discover that this is a real bargain compared to a new standard retailing for $679.99 ..
