For Sale: Used Pearl CS1450 Chad Smith Signature Snare Drum with (Yamaha) hard plastic case.
The CS14560 is widely considered a "workhorse" in the drumming community. Introduced in 1994, it became one of Pearl’s most popular and recognizable signature models due to its versatility and "cracking" rock sound.
Shell: 14" x 5" black nickel-plated steel shell (1.3mm thickness).
Hoops: 2.3mm triple-flanged SuperHoop-II's.
Lugs: CL-55 "Bridge-Style" minimum-contact lugs.
Hardware: A Gladstone-style vertical pull throw-off (SR-015) and stainless steel tension rods with solid brass receivers.
Tonal Traits:
Bright & Cutting: The steel shell provides a high-pitched "crack" and significant projection, making it ideal for rock and funk.
Sensitivity: Despite its power, it is noted for being highly sensitive and articulate, even for softer ghost notes.
