This MalletKat Express has been completely refurbished.. New sensors, rubber pads, updated electronics and brand new Kat Percussion GS Extended sound module that I had mounted in a metal box with extra emi shielding. The only difference between this and a brand new unit is the chassis for the Mallet Express is the older style. A brand new MalletKat Express sells for $2,000 and a GS Extended sound module is priced at $650.00. As an added incentive, included is a SKB case modified to fit the Express. This is a very durable Soft/hard shell case, a $150.00 value.
