Seymour Duncan's APH-1 Alnico II Pro has found its way into the axes of guitarists such as Slash (Guns 'N Roses and Velvet Revolver) to Queensryche's Michael Wilton. Perfect for any genre from jazz to blues to classic rock and anything in between, the APH-1 is characterized by a warm sound and moderate output. The APH-1 is equipped with four-conductor cable to facilitate a variety of pickup switching configurations. For tones that can be classic and modern at the same time, the APH-1 fits the bill!
Alnico II
The Alnico II magnet and moderate windings yield a warm, sweet tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain. Classic rock players who get their distortion from the amp rather than the pickup love the APH-1. It allows them to back off the crunch and get beautiful clean tones with softer attack. Compared to the '59, the Alnico II Pro has a rounder sound with a spongier bass response. The APH-1 comes with four-conductor hookup cable.
Note: This pickup comes with a Gibson Quick Connect adaptor on the four conductor wires that can be easily removed for standard installation.
