D.W. Fearn VT-5 Vacuum Tube Stereo Equalizer, purchased from Sweetwater on 5/10/24. These rarely come up on the used market and for good reason. Easily one of the most musical and sought-after analog EQs available. This unit has seen very light use in a small home studio. Over the past year it’s been used sparingly, as I’ve transitioned toward more digitally recallable gear, which is the only reason for the sale. In perfect working condition.
Condition:
There is a small cosmetic paint chip on the front panel (clearly shown in photos), which occurred while racking the unit. It is purely aesthetic and has no impact on performance. Aside from this, the unit is exceptionally clean, with only minor cosmetic wear along the top edge that is not visible when racked. Knobs and controls feel like new and show virtually no signs of use.
