These affordable small-diaphragm condenser mics have a great reputation. This matched pair works well in both live and recording sessions. We used them in a church setting for live-streaming choirs and string ensembles, recording annual Christmas CD’s, and occasionally on solo violin or guitar. With weekly set-up and take-down, they do show evidence of use with a few superficial nicks and scratches, but nothing that would affect performance. They serve well on almost any instrument and do a nice job on vocals as well. These mis are a great value for the price. They compare well with many much more expensive mics.
