This is the second of two Shure SM-81s that I have listed on Gear Exchange. It was paired with the other one as drum overheads in a church setting, and occasionally for solo violin. Like the other one, it has superficial scratches (this one has some that are more noticeable than the other listing), but nothing that will affect performance. SM-81s are known to be solid, durable, accurate, and versatile mics - able to serve well in a wide variety of applications.
