I’ve handled a lot of modern Strats, and every once in a while one comes through that actually feels ahead of the curve—not just another iteration. This American Ultra II in Solar Flare is exactly that kind of guitar.
First off, the finish is wild in the best way. Fender doesn’t miss often with colors, but this one stands out immediately. It’s this metallic yellow-green that shifts depending on the light—almost glowing in brighter settings and deepening into a richer tone in softer light. It’s not something you see often at all, and paired with that brushed-metal style pickguard, it gives this guitar a modern, almost industrial edge without losing that classic Strat identity.
Condition-wise, this one is about as clean as it gets. It’s essentially a new guitar—barely played, no real signs of use, and it still has that fresh, untouched feel when you pick it up. Comes complete with all the original case candy and the OHSC, tag still on.
In hand, this is where the Ultra II series really separates itself. The neck carve is incredibly comfortable—modern, smooth, and fast without feeling overly thin. Fender’s sculpted heel and body contours make upper fret access effortless, and the rolled edges just make it feel broken-in right out of the case.
Tonally, it’s everything you’d want from a high-end Strat but more refined. The Ultra II noiseless pickups deliver that classic Strat clarity and snap, but with a bit more balance and control—no harsh highs, just clean articulation and a really usable range across all positions. Whether you’re playing clean or pushing it, it stays tight and expressive.
And the hardware just makes it easy to live with. Locking tuners for quick string changes and solid tuning stability, a smooth two-point trem, and overall just a very “dialed” feel across the board. This is one of those guitars where everything works exactly how you want it to.
This one feels like a premium Strat should—modern, versatile, and just flat-out fun to play.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
