Up for sale is my 1976 Les Paul Custom. This guitar plays and sounds amazing. It does have the original “fretless wonder” frets which have a bit of wear, but the guitar plays well up and down the neck with no buzzing. The pickups are all original T-tops and live up to every bit of their reputation. The finish checking on this guitar, while impossible to photograph, leaves it oozing with Mojo. This guitar was a factory second when it was new. Hence the “2” stamped in the back of the headstock. Whatever the cosmetic flaw was off the line, has since been lost to time. 3 piece maple neck and pancake body. Say what you will about Norlin era Gibsons. They did not lack one iota in tone. This guitar is hefty at approximately 10.4 lbs. It is not for the faint of heart. The bridge and tailpiece are not original, but I will include the originals in the case. The switch tip and strap buttons are also not original. I do not have either of those or the original posts. The all mahogany body is well balanced by a three piece maple neck. All of the pots I believe to be original as they all date to 1976. The pickup selector switch looks like it may have been replaced or at least re-soldered at some point. The original hard case is in rough shape, but will be included with the guitar. Will ship fully insured. Please ask any and all questions. More pictures are available upon request. Thanks for looking. Have a great day!
