Beautifully preserved 1976 Martin D-18 featuring the rare factory shade top (sunburst), presented in near mint condition.
This guitar is an exceptional example of a mid-1970s D-18—clean, vibrant, and remarkably well-kept. The shade top finish is far less common than the standard natural top and gives this instrument a distinctive vintage look that stands out immediately.
The condition is truly impressive. The finish retains a deep gloss with minimal signs of handling, and the guitar appears far cleaner than most examples from this era. It has clearly been well cared for over the years.
Tonally, it delivers the classic vintage Martin voice—clear, balanced, and woody with strong projection and excellent note separation. It responds beautifully to both light touch and more aggressive strumming.
