Jay Turser Strat style guitar. Early 2000's? vintage according to the gentleman I bought this from. He bought it around the time he was retiring, and never really 'got it" when it comes to playing. He learned a few chords, plunked around with some friends, and then lost interest. He brought it to me to see why " it wouldn't hold tume", and I discovered that the strings were probably factory, and horribly dirty. (It had evidently sat unused and uncovered for 17 or 18 years)
I wiped the guitar down, took off the ancient strings, wiped it down yet again, cleaned the fretboard, and the frets, then hit the frets with 0000 steel wool to remove oxidation, and installed fresh D'Addario EXL 120 strins (.009-.042). Now it plays very well, and holds tune ( if you dont get aggressive with tremomo).
This guitar has some minor dents, dings, scratches etc, as should be expected for an older guitar, but plays very well.

This would be an ideal guitat for someone who wants a Strat style guitar for not a lot of money, it has a nice natural gloss finish on body , and a satin finish on back of neck. It plays really well. It (strangely) still has plastic on the bridge pickup, so if you notice a :shimmer" on the pickups in photos, that is why.
