This is a custom relic'd build starting with a BRAND NEW 2024 STANDARD 3 color sunburst FENDER STRAT . This is a MIRC overstock
guitar with the head stock stamped USED. It was inspected and cleared for sale to MIRC dealers of which I am one . As far as I could tell there were some cosmetic finish issues so it was a great one to relic
It resembles the $1999 Mike McCready 61 Strat .
Weighs in at 7 lbs 4 oz
I recic'd the Fender body as shown . I upgraded the bridge with a brand new Fender vintage bridge . I also replaced the pickguard on it with another Fender mint green one . I relic'd the knobs and the pickup covers as well . I replaced the factory strings with a new set of D'Addario XL regular light gauge nickel wound strings 10-46 EXL110BT .
I set this guitar up with the bridge screwed down tight so it is like a hard-tail strat . You can also set it up to use the trem as well if you want.
I will include a trem arm and also this will come with a brand new gig bag as well .
This is a great guitar to take to that backwater gig where you can use it to stop a few beer bottles or stray shotgun pellets and not have to worry about messing it up . Lots of dings dents and scratches etc .
