This is a JZ Tenor Saxophone, it is made from a Chinese saxophone company. The letters on the saxophone are engraved with the letters JZ in cursive, but it looks JL.. The Chinese company inform their dealers that sell their instruments that the letters they have engraved on their saxophones are actually JZ not JL. I don't understand that, but that is what the JZ Music Store dealer shared with me, from New Jersey. The serial number is; 710183. This is a used saxophone so you know It has light scratches and dings on the body and bell, but I did not see any dents on it. For a Chinese made saxophone, this saxophone can sing. I am no pro saxophone play, but I did play in some pro gigs as a bass guitar player, in New Jersey in the early 2000's. I have a video I did with this saxophone. I am playing with my own mouthpiece, because the one I got with the saxophone was used and cheap. I just wanted the listener to hear, The potential of this saxophone, with the right player and the right mouthpiece, this saxophone can make beautiful music for the player.
