Item Description
Listed 1 month ago
The guitar is in very good to excellent condition. Light play wear on the front and back. There is one small blemish on the back bottom side shown in photos, if not for that mark I would list it as excellent. Easily one of the best built and smoothest playing guitars I have had come through my shop.

Includes Duesenberg case.

This Guitar Is Your Ticket to the Fast Lane

The Duesenberg Alliance Series Joe Walsh boasts numerous details and appointments that are deeply connected to the style and history of its legendary namesake. The Alliance Series Joe Walsh sports a laminated spruce top, laminated flamed maple back and sides, and a solid center block to safeguard against unwanted feedback. You'll appreciate the incredible playing comfort afforded by this semi-hollowbody electric guitar's extra-slim semi-hollow design, which is impeccably matched with an easy-playing Medium "D"-shaped maple neck and an elaborately Plek'd Indian rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is designed to bring out the best in any amp you plug it into, thanks to the one-two punch provided by its Duesenberg LittleToaster and SingleTwin Mini pickups. Duesenberg Z-Tuners and a steel saddle bridge offer rock-solid stability, and the Radiator vibrato really lets your creativity soar. This instrument is replete with custom appointments, which include fingerboard inlays that spell Joe's name in Morse code, a Tibetan Knot graphic between the pickups, and mixed nickel and gold hardware. The Alliance Series Joe Walsh also includes a fetching PUR lacquer finish and Duesenberg's trademark geometrical 3-stepped styling.

The Alliance Series Joe Walsh guitar's extra-slim body shape gives you both semi-hollow tone and solidbody-esque comfort. Meanwhile, its solid center block ensures maximum sustain with minimum feedback. The Alliance Series Joe Walsh sports an easy-playing one-piece Medium "D"-shaped maple neck and a compound-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo-sized frets. Furthermore, this premium electric guitar was subjected to Duesenberg's elaborate Plek treatment, netting you unbelievably consistent fret levels for comfortably low action with zero fret buzz.

A tone-infused pickup combination

Players searching for a guitar that will bring out the best sonic qualities of their amplifier will delight in the Duesenberg Alliance Series Joe Walsh's responsive, transparent sound. At the bridge, this semi-hollowbody electric guitar sports a LittleToaster mini humbucker with an extremely open tone and plenty of ear-grabbing sparkle. At the neck, you'll find a noise-canceling SingleTwin Mini with a split-coil design for a classic rock tone that sounds amazing in any musical situation. The Alliance Series Joe Walsh includes global volume and tone knobs, along with a 3-way pickup selector.

Duesenberg: the 6-string pride of Deutschland

Founded by German guitar designer Dieter Gölsdorf in 1989, Duesenberg guitars represent a multinational mixing pot of American art deco aesthetics, hot-rod heritage, and exacting German engineering. Duesenberg's utterly distinctive instruments — affectionately dubbed "Doozys" by their adherents — gleam with proprietary parts and pickups that merge the daring appointments of the early electric guitar age with the pinpoint precision of modern manufacturing excellence. From the iconic Starplayer semi-hollow guitars to basses, lap steels, and beyond, every Duesenberg that Sweetwater carries embodies consummate artisanship. Fittingly, this unerring dedication has attracted more than a few luminaries, including the likes of Bob Dylan, Joe Walsh, Mike Campbell, John Mayer, and Tom Bukovac. For the musician who demands superlative performance, idiosyncratic innovation, and master-level musical detail in equal measure, only a Doozy will do.
