This one-of-a-kind item becomes rarer still as I swapped out the chrome hardware for black, straight from the factory at great expense. It has only been used in the studio, never live. Pristine condition, roasted maple neck. As you can see, I replaced the machine heads, everything. They gave me a new neck plate, which has a different serial number than the one that it came with. They insisted I send them the pickup, the bridge, and the neck plate, so I could prove I wasn't going to build another one. It comes with a extra set of black beauties, the only strings that belong on this bass. (in my opinion) Whoever gets it, gets a piece of this old man's dream. I've been playing bass for 50 years, and out of the hundreds of basses I've owned in my career, which was in metal, I never got my dream bass from when I was 10 years old. I got this bass two years ago. Now I'm dying, and I want somebody else to give this bass a good home.
