Update: Please Note! Recent work on this guitar to replace the nut resulted in unknown lacquer cracking on the underside of the neck and fretboard between the nut amd second fret. This is aesthetic only in nature and in no way affects the playability or sound. This cosmetic issue has been repaired and sanded smooth. If you didnt see it you likely wouldn't know it was there. Photo of this aesthetic imperfection has been included. Price has been lowered to reflect this imperfection.
This Upfitted Gretsch 5210-P90 is Priced to Sell! All Reasonable offers considered. I need to make room on the guitar wall for multiple new projects. This one never got as much playing love as others, I just didnt jive with the "LP" like style..Ready to find its Forever Home! Upfitted with Tusq XL Nut, Roller Bridge, Gold Hardware, Grover Rotomatic Tuners, TV Jones T-90 Gold/Cream Soapbar Neck and Bridge Pickups, Switchcraft 3-way switch and B5 Gold Bigsby with "Bricksbiggsfix" and "Super Squishy Spring" modifications for a less extreme string break angle at bridge and less stiff feeling arm. (The break angle is a common complaint for many concerning the B5 / B500 Design). Includes a Gretsch 6238 Deluxe Jet Hardshell case with Burgundy red interior ($250 value). Guitar currently has dunlop straplok strap buttons and extra black strap button on the back heel. Guitar just had brand new Ernie Ball titanium coated Regular slinkys 10-46 installed for this listing. This guitar has a cosmetic flaw under the bridge area where the finish is dull/cloudy and not as glossy as the rest of the body. Also has minor cosmetic flaws by the neck strap button and around the pickup selector switch. All photos of these issues included with listing. Knobs are gold hexagonal with "diamond" inlay. Gretsch Gold "arrow" Knobs (2 different styles to choose from),gold dome with abalone or Gold with multiple "diamonds" can also be installed prior to shipping if these hexagonal knobs do not appeal to you, just send a message indicating the preferred knob style . This guitar was originally modded as a tribute to the LA Lakers with the gold, cream and purple color theme and the knobs to represent Championship Rings.
