This is an original run Fishman Loudbox Artist, the pre-Bluetooth version, and it works perfectly. The first production runs of these amps came with notoriously thin and delicate tolex that did not hold up well to gigging life, and this one tells that story honestly on the outside. The covering has seen better days with peeling and wear throughout the exterior. That said, everything that actually matters is completely intact. The control panel is clean and fully functional, all knobs are present and working, and the amp sounds exactly as a Loudbox Artist should.
If you've played one of these you already know what they do. For acoustic transparency and natural tone reproduction, the Loudbox Artist sits at the top of the class. Two full channels each with their own XLR combo inputs, three band EQ, anti-feedback control, and independent effects sections with reverb, delay, chorus, flanger and phaser options. The rear panel has full DI outputs pre-EQ on both channels, effects loops, and a mix DI out for running direct to a board. Phantom power on board for condenser mics. 120 watts through a coaxial speaker configuration with a tweeter that actually sounds good, which is not always a given in this category.
This is the amp that working acoustic players actually use on serious gigs. It is loud enough for any venue without PA support, and it sits perfectly in a mix when you need to run DI. The cosmetic wear means you can throw it in a van and not worry about it.
Priced accordingly for the condition. Happy to answer any questions.
