Hello.
I have a pair of awesome vintage Sonor ferromanganese bass drum hoops in a chrome finish. These are 22" in size. They have a flat edge (drum head side) and a rounded edge (claw side)
These were commonly produced during the 70's and 80's for Sonors high end kits like the Phonic, Champion, Signature, and Performer series.
The ferromanganese hoops were made in a darker chrome and are magnetic. Their high density makes them very rigid and provide a focused sound. had them in a DW acrylic kit and it made the bass drum sound awesome. (Please see the last picture for reference and note that only the hoops are included on this listing)
Regarding the condition on the hoops, these are showing signs of use due to the age and previous storage. There are some scratches, small dents, some rust and discoloration all throughout. Please be advised that these are functional but do have signs of use. Take a moment to inspect the pictures provided and get an idea for the overall condition.
