All mahogany. Almost all original (one new dot at 12th, just refretted, new fossilized ivory pins). Just got new frets! 1 previous owner. I’ve owned it since 2001. Serial number is hard to read, typical of 58-61’s, but luthier dated it 58 or 59 due to original bridge, etc. Some scratches and wear. At least one professional reglue of original bridge, one professional crack fix. (I don’t have a case for it. I share a case for a Martin 000 that fits perfectly.)
Plays like a dream. Low action. Not a single buzz. Great sound.
LR Baggs M1A acctive pickup system with a secondary coil suspended beneath the main coil to capture the vibration of the strings and vibrations from the guitar's soundboard, which helps produce a more natural and realistic tone, including a built-in preamp with a volume control ($180 new).
Price is midpoint for current selling price of this vintage guitar in this condition.
