This is a Raines semi-hollow 7 string guitar from the mid-2000s. It's a Les Paul style guitar with the same basic electronics (HH pickups, 3-way selector, 2 tone and 2 volume knobs). Hard shell case is included.
Raines used to sell a lot of niche 7-string styles that you still can't find very frequently, and semi-hollows/hollow-bodies were a specialty.
Tone is great for rock and fusion. Big enough output for solid distortion, dark enough tone to go full jazz. Very warm sounding with a nice variety of tones. I did an at-home set up and replaced the strings recently, so it's good to go. Frets are good, hardware is all functional. The bridge-pickup tone pot is scratchy when moved, but functions correctly otherwise (doesn't make noise except when moved). All other pots are scratch-free, and the electronics are good.
This was my main guitar for about a decade, so it's got wear. I've tried to get the imperfections and dings in the photos. Aside from the standard small stuff: there's some belt rash on the back, a paint scrape near the headstock, and some tarnishing on the bridge. Case has marks on it, and is missing a metal foot. But it does its job and isn't falling apart or anything.
