Valco-style Tremolo Pedal with Depth, Speed, Output, and Input Controls
If you're looking for the ultimate '60s Valco amp tremolo sounds in a pedal, look no further. Catalinbread has revamped their now-collectible "bantam" form factor Valcoder pedal, and the new model's separate Input and Output knobs let you dial in some dirty garage grit along with old-school tremolo. You also get a Depth knob for taking it from a soft, bubbly tremolo to a choppier tremolo. The Speed knob sets the frequency, and both Depth and Speed affect the tremolo's pulse shape. The Valcoder gives you plenty of control, all housed in a tough metal enclosure with a high-quality footswitch that's ready for life on the road. Even the Valcoder's power options (9V–18V via an external power supply — not included) give you creative control, and powering it at 18V instead of 9V will give you a stronger and choppier tremolo.
Features:
* 1960s Valco amp tremolo sound in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure

* Old-school Depth and Speed controls set the tremolo's intensity and frequency
* All-metal chassis and high-quality true-bypass footswitch for long-lasting performance

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you wish to return an item you have purchased you can open a case on the Gear Exchange and request a return for a full refund.
Please check our condition notes and listing descriptions to understand the condition of the product before purchasing. Many items we sell have cosmetic and/or functional defects, though not all. We do not offer partial refunds for differences between these items and brand-new products. The price at the time of sale is the agreement for the item’s condition.
Also check the photos for power cords, power supplies, tremolo arms, or other important accessories when applicable. We do our best to photograph everything included with the item offered for sale. We also do our best to call out important but missing accessories (like power cords) in our listing descriptions. If we do not catch that something is missing from the photos and fail to mention it in the listing description, feel free to send us a message and we will check to see if we have more info than what was mentioned in the listing. Items that need power are tested when they come in the door, but sometimes their power cords or adapters will go missing on their way to our photographers. We try to minimize that of course, but it happens.
In most cases the gear we sell is photographed and then immediately packed for shipping and sent to a distribution center to prepare for shipment. If you have a question that is not answered by examining the photos or reading our condition descriptions, feel free to send us a message, but know in most cases we will not be able to provide additional photos or reexamine the gear because it is no longer in our possession.
We are in the office M-F, 8am to 5pm Eastern except for most major holidays. Most orders are shipped within 1 business day, which would be Monday if placed on a weekend or the following business day after a major holiday.
