Roland PDQ-8S Overview:
Experience whisper quiet yet natural drumming with the PDQ-8S from Roland, an 8" dual-zone snare pad from the V-Drums Quiet Series designed for compatibility with the TD-07, TD-17, TD-50X, and V71. Featuring a noise-absorbing honeycomb rubber insert, the PDQ-8S provides excellent stick feel while reducing playing noise by up to 75%.
The realistic mesh head maintains optimal rebound and playability. The underside of the head has been carefully engineered to allow air pressure to dissipate, further reducing noise. The 10" rim provides an independent playing zone with a rubber covering for quiet rimshots. The output is a common 1/4" jack, offering compatibility not only with Roland kits but also with many other drum modules with 1/4" trigger support. The PDQ-8S includes a 1/4" TRS connection cable, a hex wrench, and a cable tie.
