This custom baritone build combines quality Fender parts with a unique, modern vibe.
Specs:
* Fender Sub-Sonic Baritone Telecaster neck – C shape, 27" scale, 9.5" radius, maple fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets
* Fender American Pro tuners
* Fender “F” logo neck plate
* Limited Edition Squier Sonic Esquire H body – gloss lime green poplar, upgraded with a black pickguard
* Custom galaxy sparkle knobs by Knob Head
* Brand new Fender gig bag included
Everything here is brand new. This was a fun side project, but I already have a few baritones that get most of my play time, so this is really for someone else to enjoy.
In the interest of transparency, there is a 3/4" paint/finish crack on the rear of the body, a few inches to the right of the neck plate. I photographed it (picture #5) up close with extra light to make it more obvious. The guitar came that way from Fender and I didn't think it was too big of a deal.
This guitar is fairly light, feels resonant, and the ceramic humbucker does the baritone thing way better than I expected it to — punchy and full, but still exceptionally clear. The bridge hasn’t been intonated yet, so you’ll probably want to set it up to taste (string gauge, action, etc.).
If you’re into Esquires and love the deep growl of a baritone, this one will definitely grab you. It’s only been played at home and is guaranteed to turn some heads once it makes its way out in the world. There's only one, and I don't plan on making another.
Ships in a new Fender gig bag and packed securely in a guitar box within one business day. Signature required at time of delivery. Thank you for looking.
