Here is a mint Fender Custom Shop '64 Precision Bass Relic - Aged Lake Placid Blue. It could be considered NEW, but I am listing as MINT.
I bought it new from Sweetwater in April, 2024 and it probably has AN HOUR OF TOTAL PLAYING TIME on it. Otherwise, it's been in the case in my smoke-free home. It looks just as it did the day the case was opened. (There is one tiny blemish on the exterior of the case, visible in the photo.)
So why am I selling? Shortly after buying this, I was lucky enough to acquire a 1970 Precision and that instrument is getting all the attention now. So its time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful Fender Custom Shop masterpiece!
You'll get everything that was included in the original box... the bass, pickup and bridge covers, OHSC, Leather strap, COA, shop traveler docs, etc.
If you've got $15-$20k laying around, go buy an original '64 Precision (if you can find one that hasn't been gorked up). Otherwise, this is as close as you'll get to that mojo, with all the modern technology and reliability of a new instrument.
At this price plus shipping, you would be paying less than 75% the cost of a brand new one, with no discernible difference in appearance, play-ability, or sound.
